Here i am on a wednesday, lazing my ass off in my room.
Its almost 7 pm and i havent stepped out of my room yet.

Blame the weather, or maybe the running nose, headache and flu!

So anyway, been bumming around the bed and the chair.

woke up at 930 to ring fatty up so she could start her studying,
fell back asleep.

got awoken by glenn at 1030 to tell me that its already 1030 and Market Research class was at 11.

fell back asleep until 1 when fatty woke me up,
chit chatted a while,
then fell back asleep until 330 pm.

pig right? :D

So anyway papa and mama have a function tonight and jie's off at church,
so that leaves me and daise at home :S

& i'm awaiting my fish head soup from nicole!

Had dinner with the folks + god parents at riverview hotel on saturday.

During dinner godma took out some photos that she had of me when i was younger
and this is how i looked when i was 11, when i was 13 and when i was 15.

On sunday, attended church as usual and sat with chloe.

Usual breakfast at coffeebean again.


Chloe spilled some thing on her versace-look-a-like-satin dress!
Headed over to video ezy to grab a few dvds before goin to ntuc to look for somestuff.

I got evidence of the financial recession!

Clement came over and then we headed over to the road to wait for uncle gan to pick chloe up.

Chloe was complaining that her dad bought a Mercs instead of a BMW,
so i was telling her to be thankful of what she has and i cursed her to drive a motorcycle.
She turned around and saw a lady pushing a trolley behind clement, so she cursed clement
that next time he'll drive the trolley.

& clement, being my wittiest cousin, retorted,
" at least i have 4 wheels. "

Headed over to ryan's place after that with clement to wait for the rest of the family to come.
Rotted there until the evening before heading to wisma to see laptops, shirts etc.

Had dinner with xinyi at some wanton mee stall.

Headed home.

Monday, studied in school.
Fatty came to find me and glenn after her revision lecture.

Compared photos taken with our phones
and concluded that fatty's sony won both glenn's samsung and my lg :S
Drove to bukit panjang to pick jinhui up and then we headed over to bukit timah for dinner.
mine and fatty's dinner cost $5 total while jinhui and glenn cost $19.70 total. HAHAHA

introduced her to left 4 dead when we went to play at ang mo kio
and all she did was to shoot me and jinhui.

we all went home after that.

Yesterday, studied in school and had sally tang's lesson.
studied more in school then went to meet fatty bombom for dinner at thai express.

headed over to the library to study after that and i finished quite bit of Marketing Research
Happy.

Someone said to me a very long time ago:

“Eddie, there is no sadder thing in the world than a missed opportunity.
When I look back on my life,
the only things I regret are the things I haven’t done,
never the things I’ve done”.

What is a missed opportunity?

A missed opportunity is a chance you have not taken because of fear.

It’s most often fear that is holding us back from progressing.

Now, you can apply this to anything in your life,
from the business you want to build to the cheap car you didn’t buy last weekend.

But the missed opportunity I am referring to,
is not living the life you want to.

For example, when you met someone who could have a great impact on your life,
and you didn’t take the chance because fear was holding you back.

Believe it or not, something very similar happened in my life as well.

I met a girl in a bookshop when I was 21, we exchanged some smiles, but I was too afraid to approach her. Today, almost 19 years later, I still remember what she looked like in complete detail - I even know exactly what she was wearing that day. I think about her from time to time.

It is unbelievable, to think about a girl you saw 19 years ago, for only a few minutes, without even talking to her. Isn’t that weird?

In fact it isn’t. I’ve heard the same kind of story from many others as well. Many of us had a similar experience. Is it just a melancholic memory of a discontent past, or true remorse over a missed chance?

What is the point?

The point is that we all have something in our past where we have made the wrong decision out of fear. We wonder how our lives would be today if we had only taken action and made the right choice back then.

Well, we can’t go back and change the past, but we can change our mindset. We can now make the decision to live upon the credo:

“I will take any opportunity that is coming up, and nobody, neither a person nor fear can stop me”.

How about that?

I already hear you complaining: “How do I know that the opportunity is actually leading to a good thing”.

Well, one of life’s secrets is that you don’t know. Not until you try.

Always keep in mind that your very purpose in life is to move forward and make new experiences. Do not betray yourself of the future that is waiting for you. Go past the fear and grab every good opportunity that comes your way. Never forget: the saddest thing in the world is a missed opportunity.

I most certainly will not.
